Fuzzier and rounder than wasps. Honey bees swarm in clusters; carpenter bees bore round holes in wood; bumble bees nest in the ground or cavities.
What attracts them: Cavities and voids for nesting (wall spaces, soffits, hollow trees) and untreated wood for carpenter bees.
