Fly Management Program

Flies are more than a nuisance — they're a health-code risk and a visible signal to your customers. Our dedicated program eliminates flies at the source instead of just chasing the ones you can see.

A Source-First Approach

Solve It, Don't Just Fog It

Fogging kills the flies in the air but leaves the breeding sites behind — so they come right back. EPC targets the drains, organic matter, entry points, and exterior pressure that actually produce flies, combining sanitation guidance, exclusion, monitoring devices, and targeted treatment.

Ideal for restaurants, commercial kitchens, food service, and any facility where flies threaten health ratings and reputation.

What We Target

Every Kind of Fly

Drain Flies

Small, moth-like flies that breed in the organic film inside drains and traps.

  • Sources: Slow drains, grease, and standing organic matter.
  • Our approach: Drain cleaning and biological treatment, plus exclusion and monitoring — not just surface spraying.

Fruit Flies

Tiny tan flies drawn to ripening produce, sugary residue, and fermentation.

  • Sources: Overripe produce, spills, mop water, and recycling.
  • Our approach: Source removal, sanitation partnership, and targeted treatment of breeding sites.

Dark-Eyed Fruit Flies

A distinct fruit-fly species with darker eyes, drawn to fermenting organic matter, drains, and mop sinks — often mistaken for common fruit flies.

  • Sources: Fermentation, drain film, and moist organic buildup in low-traffic areas.
  • Our approach: Drain and source treatment, sanitation partnership, and ongoing monitoring to tell them apart and shut them down.

House Flies

Common filth flies that spread bacteria and signal a sanitation gap.

  • Sources: Garbage, organic waste, open doors and windows, and loading docks.
  • Our approach: Exclusion (screens, air curtains, door and window seals), fly lights, and a sanitation focus.

Blow Flies

Metallic blue or green flies that show up suddenly and in numbers — almost always a sign of a dead animal or decaying organic matter nearby.

  • Sources: A dead rodent or bird in a wall, attic, or crawl space; spoiled meat, garbage, or drains with heavy buildup.
  • Our approach: Locate and remove the source, sanitation, and targeted treatment — once the source is gone, the flies go with it.

Cluster Flies

Large, sluggish dark flies that gather at windows in fall and again in late winter — they slip into wall voids and attics to overwinter.

  • Sources: Gaps around windows, siding, and vents on the sunny side of the building, plus attics and wall voids.
  • Our approach: Late-summer exclusion (seal gaps, screen vents), a perimeter treatment before they move in, and removal of the ones already inside.
Perimeter Program

Exterior Fly Control

Pressure from dumpsters, loading docks, and surrounding grounds.

  • Sources: Trash areas, standing water, and organic debris outside.
  • Our approach: Perimeter treatment, dumpster and dock management, and ongoing monitoring.
